The average house price in Scotland broke the £170,000 barrier for the first time since May.

According to the Property Reporter, a typical property in Scotland grew in price by 0.6% month-on-month to reach £170,762. This is up by more than £1,000 on August’s figure.

On an annual basis, property prices have grown by 2.5% since last September’s figure of £166,622.
