The latest data from Registers of Scotland (RoS) has revealed that the volume of homes being bought and sold rose by 14.5 per cent at the end of last year, the highest level of transactions since 2008 and house prices have grown by 1.6 per cent during the year - with some areas recording double-digit increases in property values.
